A district and sessions court in Islamabad on Thursday suspended the arrest warrant of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan issued on Monday in a case related to using threatening language against Additional Sessions Judge, Islamabad, Zeba Chaudhry, Aaj News report.
The judge ordered the police to present the former prime minister on March 20.
On Monday, Chief Justice Rana Mujahid Rahim said the court had issued a warrant for the PTI leader’s arrest due to his frequent non-appearance at court hearings, and rejected his request for exemption from his personal appearance before the court.
The court also ordered the PTI chief to appear before it on March 29.

Later, the same court suspended the warrant for the arrest of innocent people and prevented the police from arresting the former prime minister until March 16.
Last year in August, a three-judge bench issued notice to Imran over his remarks against the judge.
Police in the capital arrested the former prime minister under Section 7 of the Anti-Terrorism Act (punishment for acts of terrorism) in connection with his comments.
