LAHORE (92 News) – PTI chief Asad Umar said the nationwide protest will take place at 5 p.m. today.

Asad Umar had said there would be protests in all cities at 5 p.m. “We will show them that no one can suppress a truly free nation. I will participate in the demonstration at Liberty Chowk in Lahore.

Earlier, several workers were arrested during the nationwide protest at the call of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). In Faizabad, the police gassed and arrested the workers. In Lahore, traffic had been disrupted due to the protest at the Governor’s House. The demonstrators had tried to force their way into the Governor’s House. The workers also staged a protest by blocking roads in Kalma Chowk, Thokar Niaz Baig, Babu Sabu Interchange and Shahdara.

In Karachi, PTI workers staged a sit-in in Sharah-e-Faisal. Suddenly, the traffic had suspended Karsaz in Metroville. Demonstrations had taken place in several cities, including Multan, Faislabad and Haripur. In Quetta, a complete stop had been noted at the call of the PTI.
